Mike Dean is Vice President, Programmatic and Data-Driven Sales for ABC, and is responsible for digital and linear audience data activation, programmatic sales, and the development of innovative data-driven solutions for ABC clients.  Prior to ABC, Dean held a number of positions with Videology, most recently as VP of Publisher Platform Sales, where he oversaw sales for the SSP, DMP and audience extension solutions.  From 2005 to 2010, Dean worked for Microsoft in enterprise software product management and business development roles, and was co-inventor of a patented process to personalize web search results based on user data.  Earlier in his career, Dean was a software developer at Dell Computers and a Systems Analyst at Compaq Computers.

Dean served in the US Army as an airborne infantry soldier and was deployed to Uganda for Operation Support Hope.  He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Information Systems from Texas A&M University, and holds a MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
