Emine Cubukcu, with her over 27 years of advertising, public relations and lobbying experience, is currently the CEO of Ogilvy Istanbul in Turkey, She is a veteran communications expert with extensive experience in crafting strategies that integrate research into effective message development; creating public policy and issue management initiatives; developing and implementing crisis communications efforts; and directing advertising, branding and media campaigns. She has a soft spot for pioneering acts, art and outspoken people. With her dedication to creativity, she has re-calibrated Ogilvy Istanbul as a driving force to make brands matter through advertising, PR and digital communications.
Emine had served as Managing Director of Ogilvy PR for 8 years before she was appointed to her current position as the CEO of Ogilvy Istanbul. Her prior experience includes various roles at multinational agencies -first in Turkey, then in Washington, DC - where she directed various advertisement and public relations campaigns for public entities, private national & multinational companies and NGOs.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree on sociology from Mimar Sinan University and has an MBA degree from Istanbul University. She is Board Member of Turkish Association of Advertising Agencies (RD), Vice Chairman of Make-A-Wish Turkey and Board Member of Boğaziçi University Industry 4.0 Platform. Emine is honored among Ad Age’s Women to Watch in 2020.
